The Energy Department of the Government of Punjab is inviting applications for various contract positions in the Punjab Power Management Unit (PPMU) under the ADB Funded Project “Renewable Energy Development Sector Investment Program (REDSIP).” This is a great opportunity for Punjab domiciled candidates to join the energy sector. | 01 | PROJECT DIRECTOR | 01 | Pay Rs. 500,000 (lump sum) per month | M.Sc (Engineering) in Civil Mechanical/Electrical discipline or Masters in Social Sciences (2nd Division preferably in Project Management, Public Policy, Public Administration or Business Administration from Higher Education Commission recognized university. B.Sc (Engineering) in Civil Mechanical /Electrical from a recognized university. Ten years experience in the line in case of for M. Sc. (Engineering) and fifteen years in the line in case of B.Sc. (Engineering). Past experience of dealing with power regulatory regimes and mechanisms will be an added advantage. Knowledge & experience with the execution of Projects under FIDIC, EPC/Turn Key, BOOT, BOO, And BOT basis shall be preferred. Proficiency in developing documents like EOI, PQD, RFP, PPA and IA their legal and financial implementations. Should have valid registration as a professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Should be well conversant with EIA/ IEE and Resettlement issues and safeguards relating to hydropower projects. Knowledge of social aspects of hydropower projects will be considered as an additional qualification. Experience of financial management of projects. | 40-60 |

General Experience of 15 years in contract administration, planning and construction of Civil Engineering or Hydro Power Projects including 5 years relevant experience. Dispute resolutions and related process under the EPC / Turnkey and other FIDIC conditions of contracts including Contractors claims, process of DRB or Arbitration. Procurement under ADB, World Bank and other international Donors guidelines conditions. | 40-60 |
